Description
Holbrook Heating Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated HVAC Helper to join our Albany installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in the HVAC industry.
The HVAC Helper will work alongside experienced installers, assisting with residential and light commercial HVAC installations. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related HVAC equipment
- Load, unload, carry, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
- Prepare work areas and assist installers throughout each job
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
- Follow instructions from lead installers and supervisors
- Protect customers’ homes and property while performing work
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
- HVAC or construction experience is helpful but not required
- Willingness to learn the HVAC trade
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation to the Albany office
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Schedule and Pay
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- Competitive wages: $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience
